Shipping Policy

Tropika Living ships across India. We offer free shipping on all orders, regardless of order value or product type. Because our catalogue spans small handcrafted decor pieces and large, heavy items (teak furniture, stone sculptures, GRC planters, water fountains, wall panels), shipping is handled depending on the product type.

1. Small & Courier-Shippable Items

Small decor items (e.g., carved wood/brass/stone objects, trays, textiles, small planters) are shipped via standard delivery partners. 

  • Dispatch: Orders are dispatched within 10 days of confirmation.
  • Delivery: Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days after dispatch depending on your location. This is an estimate only — we commit to the dispatch timeline, but cannot guarantee the exact delivery date once the shipment leaves our warehouse.
  • Shipping Charges: Free — no shipping charge is added at checkout.
  • Shipment Updates: Our team will share dispatch confirmation and delivery updates directly via email/WhatsApp.

2. Large & Freight Items (Furniture, Stone, Fountains, Planters)

Large or heavy items are shipped via direct freight or private vehicles given their size, weight, and delicate nature.

  • Dispatch: These items are dispatched within 10 days of confirmation, as pieces are individually handled and crated.
  • Delivery Timeline: We commit to the dispatch timeline above. However, we cannot commit to a fixed delivery date as transit depends on the vehicle route once the shipment leaves our warehouse.
  • Shipping Charges: Free — freight/logistics costs are covered by us with no extra charge at checkout.
  • Vehicle Status Updates: Since shipments are transported via private vehicles/freight trucks, automated tracking links are not available. Our team will keep you directly updated via phone or WhatsApp regarding the driver details and vehicle arrival status.

Delivery Scope & Access Limits:

  • Transport to Gate Only: Our logistics responsibility is strictly limited to transporting the shipment up to the main gate or property entrance of the delivery address, or as far as the delivery truck/vehicle can safely reach.
  • No Door Delivery, Unloading, Unpacking, or Installation: We do not offer door delivery, unloading, unpacking, or installation services. All offloading, movement inside the premises, unpacking, and assembly/installation must be arranged directly by the customer at their own cost.
  • Equipment & Manpower Requirements: For heavy items or stone sculptures exceeding 100 kg, you must ensure appropriate unloading equipment (such as a forklift machine with an experienced operator) and adequate physical manpower are available on-site at the time of delivery.

3. Inspection & Unboxing Video Requirement

Please record a continuous, unedited unboxing video starting prior to removing any outer packaging/crating, especially for fragile and heavy items (stone sculptures, fountains, GRC planters, glass).

  • Mandatory Requirement: An unboxing video is mandatory to process any claim regarding transit damage, breakage, or defects.
  • Reporting Window: Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery along with the video evidence. Refer to our Refund & Return Policy for complete details.

4. Logistics Delays

While we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, delivery schedules for freight transit can be impacted by weather conditions, regional transit restrictions, or transport vehicle availability. Our team will keep you informed in the event of any significant delays.

Tropika Living provides transportation services only, up to the main gate/entrance of your address (or the nearest point accessible by the vehicle). We do not provide doorstep delivery, unloading, unpacking, or installation services. These services must be arranged independently by the customer at their own expense. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept these delivery terms in full.
Product Weight and Dimensions:
All weights and dimensions listed on our website are approximate and not exact. Please expect a variance of 10 to 25% in weight and 5 to 10% in dimensions from the listed figures. Shipping charges are included in the product price and are not calculated on weight, so any variance will not affect the price you pay.
